
Natalye L. Appel, FAIA
Principal
Natalye Appel has over twenty years of diverse experience in the practice of architecture. Since establishing Natalye Appel + Associates Architects in 1987, she has produced over 100 projects ranging from civic, institutional and art spaces to residential architecture. Her work has been recognized through both national and international publications, national exhibitions, and numerous awards. She has complimented her professional career with a commitment to education, both teaching and serving as critic at universities across Texas. In 2000, in recognition of her accomplishments in the profession and her service to the community, Ms. Appel was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
Lonnie D. Hoogeboom, AIA
Partner
Lonnie Hoogeboom has over a decade of professional experience as Partner with Natalye Appel + Associates Architects. His varied work experience and academic history include projects ranging from historic renovations and commercial design to urban master planning for a new town in Taiwan. He was recognized in 2007 with the Young Architect Award by the American Institute of Architects, in 2006 with the Award for Young Professional Achievement by the Texas Society of Architects, and in 2005 with the Ben Brewer Young Architect Award by the Houston Chapter of the AIA. Mr. Hoogeboom currently serves as Director on the Board of the Rice Design Alliance.
