West End Residence
In Houston’s West End, a new residence was designed in two parts - a main house and garage with apartment above - for extended family privacy and mutual use of the garden space between. Clad in corrugated metal siding, one of the industrial materials found in this mixed use neighborhood, splashes of pink give hints at another use. Inside, a tall, light - filled communal space and white walls provide a gallery for the owners’ art.
