Pine Cove Park

Klein, TX 2020

Located in the Augusta Pines area of Klein, TX, just 8 miles from the Woodlands, this park was commissioned by the North West Harris County Municipal Utility District #19. The goal was to create a community outdoor space with activities to suit all ages. Working with Four & One Landscape Architects, NA+AA designed the centrally located pavilion - becoming the heart of the park. The two iconic wings house the covered gathering space to the west and family restrooms to the east, and are connected by a covered breezeway. The structure was built using natural and sustainable materials, and the roof is designed to collect rainwater to feed the park’s irrigation system. The pavilion opens towards the great lawn, creating an outdoor performance space, that connects directly to the playground.
